Foundation Earth -- Rethinking Society from the Ground Up

Foundation Earth, Randy Hayes' most recent initiative (founder of the Rainforest Action Network), is dedicated to the rigorous big thinking needed to invent the new law, governance, and economy required to replace those of a civilization that could be considered as "burning down it's house."

Our premise is that the house is on fire and parts are collapsing. The planet’s life support systems are in crisis and we must do more than treat the symptoms of breakdown. We must address the underlying causes meaningfully as we fight brushfires.  A new, bold and deeper approach is needed.

Foundation Earth is a think tank that goes beyond research to put ideas into action. This is our humble beginning. Our mission is to bring an earth-centered world-view into reality through a major rethinking of society implemented via outreach campaigns.

Regardless of what one might think about such a grand undertaking, the Foundation will likely become a reference point and major generator of  the rigorous international public discourse that could tip the scales in favor of the planet and people.
