If 2013 was the year the specter of peak oil died, then 2014 is the year sanity returns. Curiously, IEA reports at the beginning of 2013 fueled the death of peak oil hysteria, even as it had previously written about the irrelevance of the supply of oil for the fossil fuel industries survival.
